Day 1: Arrival Hanoi - Halong (D)
You are warmly welcome by your guide at Noi Bai airport. Transfer to Halong bay, enjoy a 3.5 hrs interesting drive to Ha Long city. We are crossing the rural plain of the Red River Delta with its verdant farmland dotted and local villages. Arrive in Halong, dinner at restaurant. Check-in hotel. Free for leisure or discover Halong by night. O/N in Halong.
Day 2: Halong - Hanoi (B/L/D)
Check-out. Get on board and start a 4hrs fantastic cruise to explore the amazing Ha Long Bay. Cruise through the emerald waters between the limestone with different formation: Lion, Tea Pot, Toad, Cock, Dau Nguoi (Human Head) islets, and then stop for a walk through THIEN CUNG cave (the cave of the heavenly palace - famous for its stalagmites and stalactites) the cave has only opened to the public since 1998. A short way visit the newly discovered DAU GO grotto. Back to enjoy lunch of savoury sea food is served on board.
Get on bus and return to Hanoi, on the way stop to visit Hai Duong traditional cake. Arrive in Hanoi, free for shopping at Hanoi Old quarter which dated back from the 11th century with 36 streets packed with traditional handicrafts and goods, visit the tranquility of Hoan Kiem Lake’s Ngoc Son Temple. Then enjoy the Vietnamese water puppet show. Dinner at restaurant. Check-in hotel, O/N in Hanoi.
Day 3: Ha Noi - Hue (B/L/D)
Transfer to Noi Bai airport for early flight to Hue. Hue was once Vietnam’s feudal capital from 1802 to 1945. This small and quiet city is widely known for magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in many small villages and surrounding hills.
Arrive in Phu Bai airport, guide pick up and transfer to the hotel. Lunch at local restaurant.
We spend this afternoon to visit Hue with the typical Royal Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh, the massive citadel containing the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City. This royal residence was all destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. Overnight in Hue.
Day 4: Hue (B/L/D)
Cruise on the Perfume River which give us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit the beautiful riverside pagoda of Thien Mu which is the symbol of Hue, the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes, and the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc are not to be missed.
After an impressive boat trip we return to the town and have lunch. Then enjoy a walk to the bustling Dong Ba Market that sells a wide variety of local goods and handicrafts. Along the way we pass by many fantastic eating spots, ideal places for visitors to sample some local delicacies. Dinner and O/N in Hue.
Day 5: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B/L/D)
Heading out of the town, we drive south to Hoian which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down the centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures.
Along the way we can break the journey in Lang Co Beach for a leisurely swim and an enjoyable visit to a nearby fishing village. The next stop of our trip is Da Nang which is famous with the Cham Museum. Lunch is served at restaurant, then continue to Hoian with stopover at China Beach and the Marble Mountain, whose peaks represent the five elements of the universe.
Arrive in Hoian ancient town where the architecture is a fascinating mix of Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese, visit the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the 200 years old Tamky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the different Chinese Assembly Halls and the vibrant market. Check-in hotel and enjoy your dinner with delicious local food. O/N in Hoian.
Day 6: Hoi An - Da Nang - Nha Trang (B/L/D)
Tranfer to Da Nang airport for the flight to Nha Trang. After checking in hotel, we enjoy a half day tour of Nha Trang, visit Long Son Pagoda with its famous giant Buddha image, the embroidering workshop (XQ), the impressive Ponagar Cham Towers and Hon Chong Rocks which looks like a wide open hand over the sea and Cho Dam Market. The remainder of the day is free to relax on beach. O/N in Nha Trang.
Day 7: Nha Trang Bay - Diving, Snorkeling (B/L/D)
Transfer to Cau Da pier, get on boat to trip to 4 islands: (share coach and boat with other tourist)
- Mun island (ebony island): sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling for behold marinelife such as various kinds of multi-colourful corals and fishes deeply inside ocean
- Mot island: enjoy lunch with excellent seafood. After lunch join the floating bar for heart to heart animating game with a lot of fun.
- Tam island: where has a nice, clean and quiet beach, that is good for swimming, sunbathing, relaxing, leisure, walking around … free for playing water sport activities such as jetski, catamaran, wave killer,canoe (excluded) … Then enjoy a light fruit party and coffee on board.
- Mieu island: visit the fishing villages where you can see a lot of cages in which the villagers raise the fresh fish, shrimp, flowercrabs… learning the way of raising groupers, lobsters…
16.00 pm: Return to pier in the sunset and back to hotel. Dinner and o/N in Nha Trang.
Day 8: Nha Trang - Phan Thiet - Mui Ne (B/L/D)
Leave for Phan Thiet which boasts one of Vietnam’s biggest production of fish sauce. The scenic road passes Phan Thiet town before arriving at Mui Ne. The endless white sand beaches, the charming fishing villages, the desert-like dunes and numerous types of rare flora and fauna make Muine an ideal place for any one seeking an enjoyable escape. Check-in hotel and have lunch. Free time for swimming, sun bathing, relaxing on beach. Visit and enjoy the sunset at the Sand Dunes, springs stream and fishing hamlets. Dinner and O/N in Mui Ne.
Day 9: Mui Ne (B,L,D)
Enjoy the sunrise on the Sand Dunes. Relaxing and swimming are not the only activities in Mui Ne. There are numerous options to choose from, some of which are playing a round of golf on the superb Nick Faldo - designed Ocean Dunes Golf Course or simply riding a bike through the charming rural landscape to visit many of enormous sand dunes (these optional activities are not included, you should contact hotel receptionist for information). O/N in Mui Ne.
Day 10: Mui Ne - HCM City (B/L/D)
Check-out for a half day drive to Ho Chi Minh City. On route of travelling pass this region, we can enjoy simply joy of seeing the charming countryside and the smiling faces of local people. Along the way, we also can stop as we please to stretch our legs and take some wonderful photographs.
Arrive in HCM, lunch and check-in hotel. Then tour guide will take you to sighth-seeing around downtown: Reunification Hall (outside), Cathedral Notre-Dame, Saigon Central Post Office , Municipal Theatre, City Hall. Dinner and O/N in HCM.
Day 11: HCMC - My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho (B/L/D)
Depart for My Tho. Take the boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the riversides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorised boat. Proceed to Can Tho. Dinner and O/N at hotel in Can Tho.
Day 12: Cai Rang floating market - HCM - Departure (B/L)
Check-out. Take the morning boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market with the busy sence right at the time. Keep cruising through the small chanels system, visit the rice noodles making village. Experience the "monkey Bridge" in the Delta. After lunch we transfer back HCM City for your departure flight at Tan Son Nhat airport. End our services.
